Duma Czarnowa – Border Terrier FCI
KENNEL
Our breeding facility is located in Czarnow, scenically nestled among the Karkonosze Mountains in the Rudawy Janowickie region. These areas are within the buffer zone of the Rudawy Landscape Park in the Natura 2000 area. In the past, gold, arsenic, and iron were mined here. This corner of Poland is extraordinary not only for its beautiful landscapes and pristine nature but also for its ubiquitous, soothing tranquility and clearly palpable positive energy.
The famous Santiago de Compostela trail passes through the village. The Way of St. James traverses exceptional places worldwide and is designated in Czarnow for good reason.
The "Duma Czarnowa" - Pride of Czarnow, kennel is registered in the Wałbrzych branch of the Polish Kennel Club, which is a member of the International Canine Federation (Federation Cynologique Internationale FCI) based in Belgium.
The name of the breeding "Duma Czarnowa" is related to the place we chose for our home. Meanwhile, "Duma" comes from our wonderful Border Terrier female, LADY. She is our pride and joy.

LADY - Our Pride of Czarnow
The year 2023 was a journey full of emotions and challenges, marking the fulfillment of personal dreams for me. I never imagined I would have the privilege to meet so many wonderful owners of Border Terriers. Reflecting on the events, I must admit that I feel immense satisfaction from the successes of our beloved Lady, who has achieved many prestigious titles: C.I.B - International Champion, Grand Champion of Poland, Champion of Poland, Champion of Lithuania, Winner of Poland 2023, Winner of Grand Prix in Slovakia 2023, and Nomination for Crufts 2024.
Participating in 14 international dog shows, LADY earned the title of Best of Breed (BOB) 6 times, won 9 CACIBs, 14 CACs, and was awarded Best Opposite Sex (BOS) 2 times. We are incredibly happy to have LADY as our Pride of Czarnow!
